Greetings,
Welcome to the website of the National Black State Troopers Coalition. We developed this site to introduce you to a rare variety of State Troopers: the Black State Trooper. If you check the demographics, you will find that in many states within this country, there are few Blacks and other minorities serving in the State Police and State Highway Patrol. Our intent is to encourage and develop Blacks, i.e. African Americans, Latinos, people of color and minorities to become involved in their State’s Department of Public Safety. In doing so, the NBSTC will promote a trusting relationship through common sense communications, realistic trainings and enlightened diverse education.

As you browse this website, please note that members of this organization are also involved in the communities in which they serve. Through summer camps, informative community outreach classes, child safety seat details and other civic events, we pledge to remain committed to serving the public. We encourage our membership to approach problems with collective, professional plans, versus radical non-productive advances. We also encourage our members to celebrate their achievements and milestones. Simply put, we exist to enhance our self-development, our agencies and our communities.

In conclusion, if you know of a person who you feel would excel in your state’s Highway Patrol or State Police please encourage them to contact their state Department of Public safety, me or one of the many Troopers listed on this site. We also ask that if you know a State Trooper, Highway Patrolman or member of the Department of Public Safety ask them if they are a member of the National Black State Troopers Coalition.
